How can I start my Global Entry application?
On the TTP website, you can launch your Global Entry application. You must submit an application that includes basic information about your employment history, previous addresses, and other details. You must also pay a $100 application fee to the government organization that oversees the Trusted Travelers Program (TTP). Following the submission of your application, the TTP will analyze it and provide you with a Conditional Approval. The last stage of the application procedure, your Global Entry interview, can be scheduled after you have been conditionally approved!
Why do I not have an appointment for a Global Entry interview at my location?
There is a lengthy waiting list for Global Entry because to the government’s limited resources and the program’s ongoing high demand. While some locations are fully booked, others haven’t had an appointment in over six months.
However, there is a workaround: the government posts batches of interviews and last-minute cancellations cause appointments to open up frequently. What if my Global Entry interview needs to be rescheduled? Is it possible for me to enable my notifications again?
You may activate your notifications again, of course. A link to control your alerts is included in every notification email. From there, you can pause, continue, alter the location of interviews, modify the target appointment date, and prolong your notifications past the three-month default duration. You have the option to turn your notifications on and off as often as necessary.
